COMPANY HISTORY

In November 1979, the Julian family of Morrison, Tennessee, started a small tool and die shop in their basement. After early success, the family grew into a small shop on their property. It was a family operation of skilled tradesmen, and the family was able to grow into a building in the local industrial park by the late 1980s with a team of around 12 people.

In January 1994, the Wilson family purchased Morrison Tool & Die from the Julian family, and knowing that they wanted to emphasize fabrication work moving forward, they renamed the company Morrison Tool & Fab, Inc. Since 1994, the company grew consistently under the husband and wife team of President & CEO Ron Wilson & Vice President Renee. At the time of Ron’s retirement in 2011, the company had grown to be consistently above the $15M revenue mark.

In 2011, Ron’s youngest son Jacob took the reins as President & CEO, and the company has continued to grow and evolve. In 2015, the company changed names to Morrison Industries, to better represent the current state of the company and its offerings. The company is now consistently a $34M plus company with locations both in Morrison, Tennessee and Livonia, Michigan.
